STOCKTON WOMAN WINS $50,000 INSTANTLY
May 20, 2008
Frosti Burns, Stockton, is $50,000 richer after uncovering the top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Crossword" Scratchers ticket. Burns, 40, purchased her winning ticket on May 6 at Wood’s Supermarket, 1109 S. 39 Highway in Stockton.

"I’m still in a state of shock," Burns said when she claimed her prize later that day. "When I first saw it, I thought, ’Oh my goodness.’"

Burns, who works as an aide and medical technician at a nursing home in Stockton, said she might use some of her prize money to go shopping.
