LOTTERY TRANSFERS OVER $11.4 MILLION FROM APRIL REVENUE TO THE STATE TREASURY

The Louisiana Lottery Corporation announced today that it has transferred more than $11.4 million from April revenue to the state treasury department, bringing its fiscal year total transfers to $111.3 million.

President Rose Hudson said that April revenue of more than $32.7 million resulted in $11,461,080 being sent to the state treasury.

"Since we began operations in 1991, over $5.5 billion in revenue has been generated by Lottery scratch-off and draw-style game ticket sales and over $1.9 billion has been transferred to the state treasury department," she added.
