VIRGINIA LOTTERY PICK 4 PLAYERS WIN BIG WITH 1-2-3-4
May 12, 2008
Virginia Lottery players who selected the number combination 1-2-3-4 broke the bank in the May 10, 2008, Pick 4 day drawing. For the first time in Virginia Lottery history, the winning number combination 1-2-3-4 was drawn in exact order.
Though players wagered a total of $237,386, they walked away with $2,128,300 in total winnings for that drawing.
In the Pick 4 game, players are given the option of selecting four numbers in “exact order” or “any order.” Those who matched all four in exact order with a $1 wager each won $5,000. Those who matched in any order with $1 wager each won $200.
Pick 4 drawings are held daily at 1:59 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. The chances of matching all four numbers in one drawing are 1 in 10,000.
