BUSY DAY IN COLUMBUS REGION

Columbus…The Columbus regional office was busy this morning as lucky players of Ohio Lottery games filed claims for their prizes. Thomas H. Grishkat of Pickerington won $250,000 for matching five numbers in the May 9, Mega Millions’ drawing. Jeffrey L. Riffle of Howard won $10,000 after scratching the $5 Million Cash Winfall. Marc A. Wigal of Mount Perry filed a claim last week for his $15,000 top prize on Lucky Times 5.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent, Grishkat will receive $172,500. Riffle will receive $6,900. Wigal will receive $10,350.
Grishkat purchased the winning ticket from Whitehall Carryout, 4227 E. Main Street in Whitehall. The winning numbers were 16-31-43-46-56. The mega ball number was 22. He used auto lotto. Whitehall Carryout receives a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Riffe purchased the winning 5 Million Cash Winfall from Circle K, 8860 East Broad Street in Reynoldsburg. Wigal purchased the winning Lucky Times 5 from Maysville Starfire.
