$200,000 POWERBALL PRIZE CLAIMED IN INDY

INDIANAPOLIS – Chris White of Indianapolis matched all five Powerball numbers on Saturday, May 3 for a $200,000 win. He claimed his prize from Hoosier Lottery Headquarters on Monday afternoon.
"I got up Sunday morning to check Lucky 5, Hoosier Lotto and Powerball numbers," said White. "The first two didn't hit, but then I had to double-check the Powerball numbers."
White matched the following five Powerball numbers: 2, 28, 36, 42 and 46. The Powerball number was 40 and the Power Play multiplier was 3.
He purchased his winning ticket from Village Pantry #0585 at 5960 E. Thompson Road in Indianapolis.
"I figured that matching 5 numbers was about a $1,500 win," said White. "$200,000! We can't believe it!"
The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, May 7 is an estimated $15 million.
All prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the drawing. Prizes greater than or equal to $50,000 must be claimed at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters.
