Boise – The Idaho Lottery has confirmed one ticket worth $200,000 was sold for last night’s $20 million Powerball drawing. The winning numbers for last night were 7, 18, 30, 41, 45 and the Powerball was 6. The winning ticket matched all five of the first numbers, but did not match the Powerball.
There were a total of 7,619 winners in last night’s draw, winning anywhere from $3 up to the $200,000 winner.
“We are encouraging everyone to check their tickets for last night’s Powerball draw,” stated Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Too often, players look at their ticket and see they didn’t match the Powerball and think they do not have a winner. In this case, our winner matched every number but the Powerball and is holding a ticket worth $200,000.”
This $200,000 winner is the first since Connie Goins of Emmet won $200,000 and John Garcia and Eddie Dietrich of Nampa won $600,000 on Powerball tickets in early March.
The Lottery is currently working to verify the location of where the winning ticket was sold. Additional information related to the winning ticket will be released on Monday.
The jackpot for Wednesday night’s draw is $26 million.
