RICHMOND MAN WINS A CA$H WINDFALL FROM VIRGINIA LOTTERY

Norvell Jones of Richmond is a writer. His latest book is titled The World’s Most Creative (& Dangerous) Quote Book. The former teacher started an unexpected chapter in his own life when he decided to play the Virginia Lottery’s Ca$h Windfall Scratcher game. His ticket won the top prize of $100,000.
Mr. Jones purchased the winning ticket at Quick & Easy, located at 10003 Three Chopt Road in Richmond.
When Mr. Jones posed for a photo shortly after he claimed his prize, he displayed both his winning check and the cover art of his new book.
Amazingly, it’s not the first time he has won such a great prize. Mr. Jones won $100,000 in a different Virginia Lottery game in June, 2004.
Ca$h Windfall is one of more than 50 Scratcher games currently offered by the Virginia Lottery. Mr. Jones is the third and final player to claim the top prize, which means the game is being closed. It is the Lottery’s policy to close Scratcher games as soon as the final top prize is claimed.
