STONEHAM WOMAN NETS $1 MILLION PRIZE

Susan Butts of Stoneham is the 58th Massachusetts State Lottery player to win $1 million on the Billion Dollar Blockbuster ticket since the game was introduced last fall.

Butts received her first of 20 annuity checks for $50,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.

She bought the lucky ticket at Stop ‘N Save on Franklin Street in Stoneham. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.

Billion Dollar Blockbuster is the biggest game ever created by an American lottery. The game features 130 instant prizes of $1 million and 10 instant prizes of $10 million. One lucky player will win $1 million a year for life.
