GOAL!! SOCCER PLAYER SHOOTS AND SCORES IN WIN FOR LIFE GAME

Marlon Bolanos of Lorton is a former member of the Guatemalan national soccer team. When he played the Virginia Lottery’s Win For Life game, he selected his numbers using the numbers that once adorned his jersey and those of his best teammates.
When the winning numbers were drawn on April 16, 2008, he scored! His ticket won $52,000.
Mr. Bolanos matched five of the first six numbers plus the Free Ball number. The winning numbers for that drawing were 1-17-20-30-32-35 and the Free Ball number was 4.
He purchased the ticket at the 7-Eleven located at 110 North West Street in Falls Church. Mr. Bolanos told Lottery officials he intends to invest his winnings.
