ONE TICKET IN CHESAPEAKE WINS $1,000 PER WEEK FOR THE LIFE OF THE WINNER

The Win For Life game is hot in Virginia. One ticket in the Saturday, April 26, Win For Life drawing matched the six winning numbers to win $1,000 per week for the life of the winner.
Whoever has that ticket received it in the Virginia Lottery’s “Free Ticket Friday” promotion, in which players get a free Win For Life ticket for each ticket they purchase on that Friday, up to 10 tickets per transaction.
The winner got the ticket at Farm Fresh, located at 1620 Cedar Road in Chesapeake. It is the fourth top-prize Win For Life ticket won in Virginia in 2008 - and the second in Chesapeake.
The winning numbers were 11-14-22-23-24-25 and the Free Ball was 41. Virginia Lottery officials are waiting for the winner to come forward and claim his or her prize. In addition, the store that sold the winning ticket receives a $10,000 bonus from the Virginia Lottery.
The third and final “Free Ticket Friday” will be May 2, 2008 at all Virginia Lottery retailers – as well as at the Virginia Lottery tent at Richmond International Raceway, leading up to the evening’s Lipton Tea 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series Race.
Win For Life offers a top prize of $1,000 per week for the life of the winner. Other prizes range from $2 to $52,000. Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11:00 and can be seen on WAVY-TV10 in the Hampton Roads area.
