IT’S LIKE AN EXTRA CHECK
April 20, 2008

Sharon Nelson says winning her $17,000 Lucky Lines jackpot prize is like receiving another special check from the state of Oregon. “You know, sort of like those checks we’re supposed to receive later in the year.”

The Newberg resident matched all eight numbers on her $2 ticket, to claim the $17,000 prize. Sharon’s winning ticket was purchased at NAP’s Thriftway, in Newberg.

Sharon says she has enjoyed the popular daily draw Lucky Lines game since it began. “I enjoy playing each drawing,” she said.

Sharon discovered she had the winning numbers after paying a visit to the Oregon Lottery® Web Site, oregonlottery.org. “That’s where I always check my tickets.”
