SPRINGFIELD WOMAN WINS $100,000 SCRATCHERS PRIZE
April 25, 2008
A 20-year-old Springfield woman will be car and house shopping soon after she won $100,000 playing the Missouri Lottery’s "Big Money" Scratchers game. Melody Dicus purchased her winning ticket at Jump Stop, 2540 N. Glenstone Ave. in Springfield. She redeemed her ticket on April 16.

"I was so happy," Dicus said. "I called my mom to tell her, but she didn’t believe it. She had to come down to the store to check it out."

Dicus said she plans to use her winnings to buy a house, a car and to spend a little on her baby boy.
