RICHMOND RESIDENT WINS ON THE HIGH SEAS!

Richmond, B.C. – If you're looking for a lucky charm, talk to Richmond resident Carlyle "Carly" Machinski. Not only did she win a cruise vacation through the Pacific Hold'Em Poker Cruise Contest, she won a second cruise while she was enjoying her initial cruise prize!
Last month, while the 19-year-old insurance agent was onboard the Pacific Hold'Em Poker cruise, she entered a Texas Hold'Em Poker tournament (the card game that Pacific Hold'Em Poker is based on) and finished in first place - winning the final hand with a full house! The first place prize was a Caribbean cruise vacation on one of Royal Caribbean's newest and largest ships.
"The Pacific Hold'Em Poker cruise was a blast," said Carly, who was joined by her family for the cruise. "We went ATVing in Mazatlan and underwater scootering in Cabo San Lucas – it turned out to be a great family vacation!"
Carly's first cruise vacation win was a seven-day Royal Caribbean cruise to the Mexican Riviera courtesy of BCLC's Pacific Hold'Em Poker. The game awarded 42 cruise vacation packages for two during a contest promotion in September and October of last year. The lucky 42 winners enjoyed the cruise vacation in March.
As part of Carly's next cruise vacation, she receives a free entry into the Final Royal Poker Tournament and a chance at a jackpot estimated at over $100,000. If she wins the jackpot, she says she'll buy a new BMW.
