WESTHAMPTON BEACH GRANDMOTHER WINS $3,000,000 ROYAL RICHES TOP PRIZE

Schenectady, NY – Fifty-four-year-old Elise Mitchell of Westhampton Beach, Suffolk County, recently received the first payment of the $3,000,000 top prize she won playing the Lottery’s Royal Riches instant game.
The self-described “home body” purchased her winning ticket on March 12, 2008 at the 7-Eleven on Sunset Ave. in Westhampton Beach. She claimed it the following day at the Lottery’s Long Island Customer Service Center.
The $3,000,000 top prize on the Royal Riches instant game pays out as $150,000 a year for 20 years, less required tax withholdings. After taxes, Mitchell will receive $102,225 per year.
Mitchell said she planned to use her new-found wealth to buy a house and take care of family.
