POWERBALL JACKPOT GROWS TO $46 MILLION; TWO $1 MILLION POWER PLAY PRIZES WON!

Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, Powerball generated some huge winners. Two tickets in Pennsylvania (1), and South Carolina (1) matched all 5 white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $1 million cash win each! Two other lucky tickets sold in Indiana (1), and Missouri (1) won $200,000 each by matching all 5 white ball numbers!
The jackpot for the Wednesday, April 2nd drawing will be $46 million with the cash option at $23.5 million.
The numbers drawn Saturday evening were 18, 20, 25, 31, 36, and the Powerball was 7. The Power Play multiplier was 5.
Twenty-four tickets matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. Seven additional tickets of that prize level had the Power Play and had the prize multiplied by 5 for a $50,000 cash win! A total of 529,737 tickets across the nation won more than $7.2 million in prizes playing America’s favorite game.
A total of 109,712 winning Powerball tickets multiplied their prize by 5 Saturday. Players were able to do that by purchasing the Power Play option for $1. With Power Play you multiply your Powerball winnings from 2-5 times, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel is spun to select that night’s multiplier.
Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.
Players purchased $20,677,578 in Powerball and Power Play tickets between Thursday and Saturday night.
