COLUMBIA, SC – The winner of the South Carolina Education Lottery’s (SCEL) first MegaMatch 6 jackpot has come forward to clam the $871,715 prize! The winning ticket was purchased at the Briar Patch in Campobello in Spartanburg County.
The lucky player, who wishes to remain anonymous, is from the upstate and says she’s played MegaMatch 6 since the game started last month. “I love MegaMatch 6,” she said. “I quick picked my numbers when I bought the ticket,” she added. The winning numbers in the Tuesday, March 11 drawing were 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, and 11.
“This is a very exciting time for us and for our first MegaMatch 6 jackpot winner,” said Ernie Passailaigue, SCEL Executive Director. “When we launched MegaMatch 6, we promoted this game with more ways to match, more ways to win. And it’s done just that,” he added. “MegaMatch 6 is a very popular game!”
