DANBURY RESIDENT BECOMES LATEST "WIN FOR LIFE" GRAND PRIZE WINNER

Lottery officials today announced that Abe Najamy of Danbury is the newest “Win for Life, Edition 14” scratch game top prize winner.
As the latest in a long line of “Win for Life” scratch game top prize winners, Najamy secured himself $5,000 every month ($3,501 after taxes) for the rest of his life, with a guaranteed minimum payout of $1 million.
Najamy’s winning ticket was purchased at Jimmies Market, located at 38 Germantown Road in Danbury. For selling the winning Win for Life ticket, Jimmies Market will receive a $10,000 bonus check from the CT Lottery.
By Najamy claiming the last top prize in “Win for Life, Edition 14” game, the CT Lottery will immediately begin sales for “Win for Life, Edition 15” with four more top prizes up for grabs—each worth $5,000 a month for life for the lucky winner!
About the CT Lottery “Win for Life” Game: Since its start in January 1998, there have been 39 top prize “Win for Life” winners. The overall chance to win a prize in this edition is 1 in 4.19.
