NANAIMO RESIDENT STRIKES IT BIG WITH BINGO
February 20, 2008
Richmond – John Taylor of Nanaimo took home a whopping $32,983.30 on February 16, after playing Ka-Chingo at Harbour City Bingo hall on 5th Street in Nanaimo.
John, who is married with three children, was in disbelief at first. "Once I yelled BINGO, I just sat there," he explained. "What I like about Ka-Chingo is that there is a chance to win big pots across the province." John plans to put his winnings to good use by buying new furniture, paying bills and contributing to his RRSPs.
Introduced by British Columbia Lottery Corporation in 2006, Ka-Chingo is a big money bingo game with a progressive jackpot that starts at $25,000 and grows each session until it is won. Ka-Chingo is offered three times a day at 2pm, 8:30pm and 11pm at all 27 commercial bingo halls and community gaming centres in British Columbia.
