A RESIDENT OF ALMA IS QUÉBEC’S NEWEST MILLIONAIRE!

Gatineau – Françoise Tremblay, a resident of Alma in Québec’s Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, won $1,000,000 during the Célébration 2008 draw and show hosted by Mitsou and Garou. The event was broadcast this evening on the TVA network from the Casino du Lac-Leamy’s Théâtre du Casino in Gatineau.
Lady Luck smiled on Mrs. Tremblay, who was selected among 26 finalists from various regions throughout the province of Québec: Montréal, Québec, Laval, Montérégie, Outaouais, Estrie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Chaudière-Appalaches, Côte-Nord and Bas-Saint-Laurent.
Louise S. Boursier, from Saint-Luc, walked away $100,000 richer. All of the finalists had previously uncovered three identical “1000$ + TV Tirage” symbols on the instant portion of their Célébration 2008 ticket.
During the Célébration 2008 show and draw, several prizes were drawn for the television audience, including a prize of five million dollars and two $500,000 prizes.
