Boise – With only 12 shopping days left in the Holiday Season, Idahoans hoping for a million dollar present from the Idaho Lottery may need to get their shopping done a little earlier than expected. This morning, the Idaho Lottery confirmed they have sold over 90% of the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets meaning there are less than 25,000 available for purchase.
“Million dollar raffle tickets continue to be a popular holiday item this year,” stated Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “At the current rate of sales, we are advising any one who wants to purchase a raffle ticket to do so before the end of the week. We are anticipating selling out early next week.”
Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle tickets went on sale November 11, 2007. Only 250,000 tickets at $10 each were made available for purchase in Idaho. Top prizes in the game include the $1,000,000 prize as well as four other prizes of $25,000. The game offers Idahoans the best odds ever of winning a million dollars from the Idaho Lottery. In addition to the top prizes, there are also three hundred $500 prizes and five hundred $100 prizes.
“We are also encouraging players to sign their tickets and keep them in a safe place until the draw on December 31st,” stated Anderson.
