Jennifer Kersten of Molalla was “very excited,” when she found out she was headed to the Lottery office in Salem to collect her $2,500 Keno prize. She was even more excited when she discovered she had also won a $527 six-spot Rolling Jackpot Bonus, for a total prize of $3,027.

Jennifer, who was enjoying Keno at the Moose Lodge, in Molalla, usually plays a four-spot Keno ticket. She decided to switch for a few games and play the six-spot. “I just thought I would try something different for awhile.” She chose her own numbers using a combination of birthdays, ages, and the year her father graduated from high school.

Jennifer played 20 consecutive games, and won her big prize in the 18th game she played. Plans for her prize money call for her to treat her mom to a “Bingo Special” day, and maybe a family vacation.

“This is nice, very nice,” said Jennifer, as she signed the winners’ wall at the Lottery office. “I know the Lottery does a lot of good things. It makes people like me happy!”
