The Lottery’s countdown to its 200th winning ticket of $1 million or more is getting close: A lucky Goodlettsville couple won $1 million this week playing the instant game, “$1 Million Fever,” which is the 197th ticket sold worth one-million-dollars or more since the Lottery began Jan. 20, 2004.
Rita Qualls of Goodlettsville said she “hadn’t stopped smiling” since she saw the long line of zeroes on her ticket indicating she won one of the top prizes of that game. She was happy to have husband Joe nearby to help steady her and drive them safely to the Tennessee Lottery’s Nashville headquarters office.
Rita purchased the lucky ticket at Kroger, 123 North Creek Blvd., Goodlettsville, TN.
