BURLESON RESIDENT CLAIMS $1 MILLION POWERBALL PRIZE
August 11, 2016
Brandi L. Grisham, of Burleson, claimed a second-tier Powerball prize worth $1 million for the drawing held June 11. The ticket was purchased at the Albertsons, located at 833 N. E. Alsbury Blvd. in Burleson.

Grisham’s ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (20-27-36-41-58), but not the red Powerball (7).

The claimant requested minimal publicity.

Powerball jackpots start at $40 million and roll until the jackpot is won. Players win the jackpot by matching five numbers from a field of 69 numbers and one Powerball number from a field of 26 numbers. Drawings occur each Wednesday and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. CT.
