Sherree Luft of Willmar made a pop run for the guys at work on April 20. She said while she was in line to pay, “the guy in front of me bought a $13 Million Cash Explosion®II ticket. It looked good so I bought one too.
“My dad always said it’s bad luck to scratch the tickets in the store, so I never do,” Luft explained. So she took the ticket to her car, where she scratched it from top to bottom. When she got to the last number on the ticket, she uncovered a $50,000 prize. Not believing her good fortune, Luft went back inside the store to check the ticket and confirm her win.
The winning ticket was purchased at Casey’s General Store, 605 N. Sibley Ave. in Litchfield. Luft claimed the prize on April 21.
