Arthur Pence has 22 million reasons why stopping at the Donut Tyme store in the Canyon Crest Towne Centre in Riverside turned out to be such a great idea. Had he not purchased $5 worth of SuperLotto Plus tickets while he was there earlier this month, he wouldn’t have been able to win the $22 million jackpot from the March 5 draw!
Pence, who wishes to remain as anonymous as possible and not share any information at all about his big win, has claimed his fortune. He matched all six numbers that night (4-5-8-10-21 and Mega number 6) to win it all. He has the option of taking the lump sum amount of $14.4 million or getting the full $22 million (less federal taxes) spread out over 30 years.
California’s latest multi-millionaire is not the only winner from this jackpot draw! Donut Tyme, which is located at 5225 Canyon Crest Drive #72, will receive a $110,000 retailer bonus just for selling the winning ticket! Ownership is understandably thrilled!
SuperLotto Plus is California’s own in-state jackpot game. Players pick five numbers from 1 to 47 plus a Mega number from 1 to 27. The draw takes place at Lottery Headquarters in Sacramento Wednesdays and Saturdays, right after draw entry closes at 7:45 p.m. PT. Tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any of the 22,000 California Lottery retailers or one of the more than 4,000 Lottery Lucky Retailers. Please visit the California Lottery’s SuperLotto Plus site for more information.
