A dad and daughter from Bellingham put their money together and won $50,000 playing "High Voltage" Scratch. The winners purchased their ticket at a local 7-Eleven (2400 Alabama Street, Bellingham, WA 98229).

"My father and I were so excited because we've never won this much money before," said the winner. "We told my mom when we got home and she suggested we all go to Hawaii."

The daughter, an aerospace worker, loves watersports and enjoys spending her free time on the water. She plans to use her share of the prize to purchase a WaveRunner or a jet ski, and then wants to put the rest of the money in the bank.

The winners told Lottery officials they randomly purchased a few different tickets and scratched them in the car on their way home. When the daughter scratched the winning ticket, she couldn't believe her eyes. The duo said they hope to cross "winning a Lotto jackpot" off their bucket lists next. The jackpot for the next Lotto drawing on Wednesday, February 24 is $6.7 million, and is the largest Lotto jackpot since April 2015.
