ANDERSON MAN WINS LOTTERY AND GOES DEBT FREE

The last ticket in the case was the luckiest for an Anderson man who scratched and won $200,000.
Self-employed, the lottery winner is relieved the cash will allow him to continue working for his favorite boss, himself.
“I’m paying off everything and going debt free,” he vowed.
After roofing half of a house last week, he stopped in at Eddies Minute Mart on the Abbeville Hwy. in Anderson. For $10 he purchased The Color of Money scratch-off. When he saw the six figure payday he decided the rest of the roof could wait another day and instead drove to Columbia to collect his winnings.
“I know I turned white,” the winner said describing the moment he won. “I about fell out.”
The odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 440,000.
As of this release, five top prizes of $200,000 remain in the $10 The Color of Money game.
For selling the claimed ticket, Eddies Minute Mart in Anderson received a commission of $2,000.
