AMERICUS DELIVERY DRIVER WARMS UP TO $25K PRIZE

An Americus delivery driver has won a copious quantity from the Georgia Lottery. Jimmy Moore Jr., who carries hot meals to homebound seniors, won a $25,000 prize playing the instant game Cash Payout.
Moore, 43, claimed his prize Tuesday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Columbus.
Stop & Go, 2001 U.S. Highway 41 N. in Cordele, sold the lucky ticket.
“I went back to the van and was on my way back to work,” he said. “I had to get out, go back in and make sure I wasn’t imagining things.”
A father of four, Moore has served meals to seniors for three years.
He wants to take care of his family and buy a new vehicle with his windfall.
