ALPHARETTA WOMAN ROUNDS UP 2ND LOTTERY WIN
July 18, 2012
A grocery store chain has helped roll out a second Georgia Lottery win within two years for a north Fulton County woman. The latest win for Susan Armstrong-Clark of Alpharetta is a $20,000 prize from the Georgia Lottery instant game $400,000 Grant.
Her first lottery win came in 2010 when she won a $5,000 prize playing the Georgia Lottery instant game Jumbo Jumbo Bucks.
“I used it for renovations and a ski trip,” said Armstrong-Clark, 64.
Both winning lottery tickets were purchased at Publix Super Market locations in Alpharetta.
Publix Super Market #0762, 13800 Highway 9 N. in Alpharetta, sold the winning ticket worth $20,000. Publix Super Market #1060, 980 Birmingham Road in Alpharetta, sold the winning ticket worth $5,000.
Armstrong-Clark claimed her $20,000 prize Monday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth.
The lucky winner selected her ticket from the Georgia Lottery’s Instant Ticket Vending Machine while grocery shopping.
“It was a very lucky pick,” she said. “I feel pretty darn good.”
While she doesn’t have immediate plans for her win, Armstrong-Clark considers herself lucky.
