TWO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MEGA MILLIONS TICKETS SPLIT PRIZE WORTH MORE THAN $638,000
December 21, 2011
Two Southern California Lottery players came up big in last night’s MEGA Millions draw, and as a result, both will soon have more money in their bank accounts to pay all their holiday shopping bills. Both winners matched five numbers to split a prize worth $638,936, making each ticket worth $319,468.
The first winning ticket was sold at Mr. Wonderful Gift and Snack Shop, which is located at 8631 West 3rd Street #307E in Los Angeles. The second winning ticket was sold at Rob’s Liquor, which is located at 2615 East Carson Street in Carson (Los Angeles County).
The tickets matched the numbers 24, 45, 51, 27, and 20 missing only the Mega number of 31. Since no one matched all six numbers in last night’s draw, Friday night’s jackpot will be worth a whopping $173 million.
