THE MEGAPLIER BROUGHT A MIILLION

A resident of South Euclid said yes to the Megaplier on the Ohio Lottery’s Mega Millions’ game. Now Donald L. Phillips is $1,000,000 richer after matching all five numbers, the megaplier, and no mega ball in the December 23 Mega Millions’ drawing.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent are withheld, Phillips receives $690,000.
Phillips picked the numbers. The winning numbers were 3-5-8-18-29. The mega ball number was 14. The megaplier number was 4. Phillips purchased the ticket from Speedway # 4044. Located at 4549 Mayfield Road in South Euclid, Speedway receives a $1,000 agent bonus for selling a second tier prize winning Mega Millions’ ticket.
