THE $120,000 PICK 5 JACKPOT HAS BEEN CLAIMED

Antonio Rocha of Sedona has come forward to claim the $120,000 Pick 5 jackpot from the drawing Friday, September 3.
Rocha has been playing the same numbers for the last five years, which he selected according to meaningful dates in his life. He works as a maitre d’ at a restaurant in Jerome and owns a small working farm. Rocha has not made any definite plans to use his winnings, but is contemplating a cross-country trip.
“It is always exciting when someone comes through our doors to claim a winning ticket,” said Jeff Hatch-Miller, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. “It was a great feeling to hand this winner such a large check, knowing that it will change his life.”
The winning ticket was purchased from a Safeway store located at 2300 W. US HWY 89 A in Sedona.
