THANKSGIVING WINNERS
November 28, 2011
James Buckner of North Providence claimed $35,000 after cashing in seven winning Daily Numbers tickets from the November 16 drawing. He bought the tickets from Breads N Stuff in West Warwick after playing the winning number combination 2 5 0 2. This isn't his first big win; in fact in September of 2010 he claimed $30,000 on winning Daily Numbers tickets! He will be using the money for his trip to Florida for a couple of months this winter.
A Providence woman also hit it big on the Daily Numbers for the November 26 drawing. She played 2 0 2 1, which she came up with using the birthdays of her three sons. She played 4 separate tickets to win a total of $17,000 and plans to put the money towards paying bills and buying Christmas presents. El Bombazo Market on Broad Street in Providence sold the winning tickets. This Retailer also sold $10,000 worth of winning tickets a little over one week ago for the drawing on November 17.
Instant Tickets paid out over the weekend too. A Tiverton woman cashed in a $50,000 winning Super Hot Cash ticket. She bought the ticket from North Tiverton News on Main Road in Tiverton and came to the Lottery today with her husband to pick up her winnings. They said they're planning on a buying a new truck for him.
