SUMTER MANS PREDICTION PAYS OFF
December 14, 2011
A Sumter man said he was going to win the Lottery and a half hour later he delivered.
“I just knew I was going to win,” he explained.
Two witnesses back up his story.
After working the night shift, the psychic and two co-workers stopped in at Lees Grocery in Sumter to hang out and scratch a few lotto tickets. One of the fellows won $100. Right on cue, our winner picked out one worth $200,000.
“I’m a lucky guy,” he said.
“I didn’t win anything,” confessed the co-worker that gave him a ride to Columbia to cash in the Platinum Payout ticket. “It’s not luck he won, it’s a blessing.”
“He’s always been freehanded and would give people money, even when he didn’t have it to give,” added his co-worker.
As of this release, six top prizes of $200,000 remain in the $10 Platinum Payout game.
The odds of winning $200,000 are 1 in 375,000.
Lees Grocery received a commission of $2,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
