STORE NEAR FIVE POINTS SELLS $750K WINNING LOTTERY TICKET

A store near downtown Atlanta’s Five Points has sold a sizeable Georgia Lottery prize. Dixie News, located at 13 Decatur St. S.E. in Atlanta, sold a $750,000 top prize on the holiday-themed Jingle Jumbo Bucks instant ticket.
Raj Patel, the store’s owner, is telling all of his patrons the good news.
“We’ve already told everybody,” he said. “We’re excited.”
Marilyn Cullins of Conyers recently claimed her prize at Georgia Lottery’s headquarters.
“We sell a lot of tickets, and now we have a big winner,” Patel exclaimed.
