Coincidentally, Sheena asked her sister "would you be okay winning $1,000 a week?" right before she purchased her winning "Lucky for Life" Scratch ticket - and she did!
The lucky Seattle mother of two won "Lucky for Life" on Wednesday and will receive $1,000 per week for life. She still plans to keep her job at Harborview Medical Center but said the prize money will help her family get out of debt and buy a house. "I also want to put away some of the money for my kids' college," she said. Sheena has a 12-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son. She explained, "This money will make a difference for the whole family."
The winning ticket was sold in Seattle at Skyway Gasoline on 11655 Renton Ave S.
