RETIRED CHARLTON COUNTY AIRMAN WINS $100,000

A retired airman from Charlton County has won a jumbo Georgia Lottery prize. John Daniel Jr., 46, won $100,000 playing the instant game Jumbo Bucks Bingo.
“I was sitting in my front yard,” said Daniel, a resident of Homeland. “I just let out a big yell and screamed.”
Retired from the U.S. Air Force after 27 years of service, Daniel is married with two adult sons.
“The wife said she’s going to have a good Christmas,” he said. “She was up all night deciding what she wants.”
Daniel plans to use some of his winnings to pay bills.
Flash Foods #0122, located at 439 Bowery Lane in Folkston, sold the lucky top prize ticket.
