RAIN ROUTES BUFFALO GREAT-GRANDMOTHER TO $10,000 LOTTERY PRIZE
August 27, 2011
Buffalo resident Patricia Gordon normally doesn’t buy her Lottery tickets at Dash’s Market on Hertel Ave in Buffalo but the stormy weather on August 21st made her change her routine. “I headed to Dash’s because it was raining,” the great-grandmother explained after claiming her $10,000 prize on the Lottery’s Money Ball Bingo instant game.
“I went straight to the customer service desk at Dash’s because the checkout lines were so long,” said the busy great-grandmother. “And I love anything bingo so I decided to buy a Money Ball Bingo Lottery ticket.” The retired Verizon toll operator claimed her top prize on August 22nd at the Lottery’s Buffalo Customer Service Center on Genesee Street.
Money Ball Bingo is a $2 instant Lottery ticket with a top prize of $10,000. The odds of winning that prize like this Erie County matriarch are 1 in 420,000.
