PETERBOROUGH FRIENDS WIN LOTTERY JACKPOT

The price was right for Peterborough friends Nicole Fountain and Shannon Hewitt who each spent $1.50 to buy a $3 INSTANT Price Is Right scratch ticket (Game # 1652) and won a $75,000 jackpot prize.
"We bought the ticket together and went home to scratch it. It was so shocking to see we had won, that we literally had no reaction. We were both thinking 'are you serious???' said Fountain.
The two friends, and retail employees, are both planning on buying a scooter with their prize money and paying off their debts.
"This is the first time we've played together. This is totally amazing, but overwhelming!" smiled Fountain.
The winning ticket was purchased at Mister Convenience on George Street in Peterborough.
