OMAHA MAN WINS $150,000 PLAYING PRECIOUS JEWELS

Joe Tisthammer of Omaha won $150,000 playing the $15 Scratch game Precious Jewels from the Nebraska Lottery.
Tisthammer purchased his winning Precious Jewels ticket at Hy-Vee Gas, 3404 North 156th Street in Omaha. Scratching the ticket, he revealed one “RING – WIN ALL” symbol, winning all 25 prizes on the ticket for a total of $150,000.
There are three $150,000 top prizes available in Precious Jewels. Tisthammer was the first person to win a top prize in the game.
While claiming his prize on September 29, Tisthammer told Nebraska Lottery officials that he didn’t realized he had won the top prize at first. “I was floored when I figured it out,” he said. Tisthammer plans to pay bills and save for the future using his winnings.
