NEW YEARS EVE IS TIME FOR BONUS CELEBRATION

Wilfred Hyman stopped after work at Mall Spirits in the Reisterstown Road Plaza on December 30th to purchase his typical Lottery games. “I play Pick 4 and Bonus Match 5 each day,” said the 54-year-old. Among his purchase was a $2 Bonus Match 5 ticket with one line of numbers that he had selected and two lines of Quick Pick numbers.
Wilfred continued home and the next day on New Year’s Eve, as is his custom, he stopped into the Lottery retailer to get a printout of the previous day’s winning numbers. Upon arriving home, he checked his tickets for that drawing and was stunned to see that all the numbers matched from one of his Quick Pick lines. “Am I reading this right,” was Wilfred’s reaction. “I must have read the ticket ten times,” said the winner. “I was just happy.”
This is the first large prize for the lucky winner and he hopes that it is just the start of a winning streak. “I’m just waiting for my next big win,” he said. Wilfred intends to use his windfall to buy a “few new toys” which include a 60-inch 3D television and upgrades for his computer. The remainder of his $50,000 prize will go into the bank. The winning ticket was purchased at Mall Spirits, located at 6630 Reisterstown Rd. in Baltimore.
