NEW JERSEY SELLS TWO WINNING $10,000 TICKETS AS MEGA MILLIONS ROLLS TO $25 MILLION

Carole Hedinger, Executive Director of the New Jersey Lottery, today announced that two lucky New Jersey Lottery players have won the Mega Millions third prize of $10,000 for the Tuesday, January 3 drawing.
The Passaic County winning ticket was purchased at The Liquor Depot, located at 534 Van Houten Avenue in Clifton , and the Somerset County winning ticket was sold at Quick Chek #35, located at 273 Route 206 in Hillsborough.
“Congratulations to The Liquor Depot and Quick Chek #35, ” said the Lottery's Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “ For selling these winning tickets, they have become three of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
In addition to the Garden State 's third prize winners, 30,198 other New Jersey players took home $138,295 in prizes ranging from $2 to $150, according to Hedinger.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, January 3 drawing were: 02, 03, 15, 22, and 36 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 23. The Megaplier number was 02 .
