NEW JERSEY SELLS THREE $250,000 AND SEVEN $10,000 WINNING TICKETS

Carole Hedinger, Executive Director of the New Jersey Lottery, today announced that three lucky New Jersey Lottery players have won the Mega Millions second tier prize of $250,000 and seven lucky players have won the third prize of $10,000 for the Friday, Dec ember 23 drawing. One of those third prize tickets was purchased with the Megaplier option, making it worth $40,000!
One of the $250,000 winning tickets was purchased at Orange Liquors, located at 283 Scotland Road in Orange, Essex County, another was bought at Prime News, located at 448 60 th Street in West New York, Hudson County; the third was sold at Shop Rite of Washington, located at 2 Clubhouse Drive in Washington, Warren County.
Of the seven $10,000 winning tickets , one was sold at 7-11 #2412-39387, located at 67 East Ridge Avenue in Paramus, Bergen County; the second was bought at the Belleville Tobacco & Hobby Center, located at 386 Main Street in Belleville, Essex County; the third was purchased at A & P #640, located at 125 18 th Street in Jersey City, Hudson County; the fourth was sold at B & C Deli, located at 1000 Belmont Avenue in South Plainfield, Middlesex County; the fifth was bought at Kelly's Market, located at 601 Route 46 in Kenvil, Morris County; the sixth was purchased at 7-11 #11026 (S), located at 384 Dover Road in South Toms River, Ocean County. The seventh third tier winning ticket, worth $40,000 thanks to that Megaplier option, was purchased at Fairview Farms, located at 22 Wall Street in West Long Branch, Monmouth County .
“Congratulations to all of the winners and to the retailers that sold these winning tickets,” said the Lottery's Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “For selling the $200,000 and the $10,000 winning tickets, they have become ten of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
In addition to the Garden State 's second and third prize winners, 104,941 other New Jersey players took home $490,550 in prizes ranging from $2 to $150, according to Hedinger.
The winning numbers for the Friday, December 23 drawing were: 03, 05, 08, 18, and 29 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 14. The Megaplier number was 04.
