NEW JERSEY SELLS ONE WINNING $10,000 TICKET AS MEGA MILLIONS ROLLS TO $42 MILLION

Carole Hedinger, Executive Director of the New Jersey Lottery, today announced that one lucky New Jersey Lottery player has won the Mega Millions third prize of $10,000 for the Tuesday, January 10 drawing.
The Middlesex County winning ticket was purchased at Stop & Shop #897, located at 581 Stelton Road in Piscataway .
“Congratulations to Stop & Shop #897, ” said the Lottery's Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “For selling this winning ticket, they have become one of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
In addition to the Garden State 's one third prize winner, 30,048 other Jersey players took home $124,466 in prizes ranging from $2 to $150, according to Hedinger.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, January 10 drawing were: 04, 10, 16, 38, and 48 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 34. The Megaplier number was 03 . With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $42,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held tomorrow.
