NEW BEDFORD MAN WINS $1 MILLION

Nuno Silva of New Bedford is the third lucky player to claim a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts Lottery’s 20X The Cash instant game.
Silva selected the cash option on the $1 million prize and received a one-time lump sum payment of $650,000 (minus taxes). The construction worker plans to buy a house with the winnings.
He purchased the winning $5 ticket at 7-Eleven located at 103 State Street in Boston. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
