NANUET PHYSICAL THERAPIST FEELING GOOD ABOUT $3,000,000 SCRATCH-OFF WIN

Seema Dhimmer, 26, of Nanuet, Rockland County is on a bit of a lucky streak. The occasional Lottery player recently claimed a $3,000,000 prize on a New York Lottery Make Me Rich scratch-off ticket and started a new job as a physical therapist. “I’m definitely a lucky person,” said the 2009 graduate. “I once found $26 just walking on the beach in Miami. I just seem to find money.”
Dhimmer found her $3,000,000 Make Me Rich ticket at the Corner News Deli on Main Street in Nanuet after another customer declined to purchase it. “I didn’t think it was a winner at first because I didn’t match any numbers,” said the daughter of store owners Pravin and Gayatri Dhimmer. “Then I saw the coin symbol and realized it was an automatic winner. Dhimmer’s father confirmed it was a jackpot winner “I just kept asking, ‘Really? Really?’” said
Dhimmer claimed her prize on September 21 at Empire City Casino in Yonkers. As is the case with most New York Lottery scratch-off games, the top prize on the Make Me Rich ticket is paid as an annuity. Dhimmer will receive her $3,000,000 prize as $150,000 a year for 20 years. Her annual net check will total $99,045. “I’ll pay off my student loans first,” said Dhimmer of her plans for the money. “And, for fun, I’ve been thinking about a new car.”
