MINNESOTA MILLIONAIRE RAFFLE IS BACK

The Minnesota State Lottery is once again bringing back one of its most popular games. Tickets for this year’s Minnesota Millionaire Raffle are available for sale beginning Nov. 1.
With limited tickets and two guaranteed $1 million prizes, the Raffle continues to offer the Lottery’s best odds to win $1 million.
Like last year, 600,000 tickets will be on sale through Dec. 31 or until they sell out. Acting Lottery Director Jenny Canfield reminds players to get in on the fun before it’s too late. “Tickets keep selling out earlier and earlier each year and we are confident that we will see the same results again this year,” she said.
In addition to two $1 million prizes, the Raffle offers five $100,000 prizes, five $25,000 prizes and 100 $500 prizes. The popular bonus prizes are also back this year. Each Raffle ticket sold will indicate a specific bonus prize near the bottom of the ticket that the ticket holder is eligible to win. The 38 bonus prizes include the following: a 2012 Ford Mustang convertible, a 2012 Ford Edge, a 2012 Ford Explorer, $9,000 luxury vacations (10), $5,000 travel packages (10), Slumberland Furniture packages (2), $4,000 shopping sprees (5), $4,000 in gas (2), $4,000 in groceries (2) and home electronics packages (4).
The Raffle drawing will be held on Jan. 1, 2012. The winning numbers for the cash prizes will be drawn first (starting with the $1 million prizes). After the final $500 cash prize winning number is drawn, the bonus prize winning numbers will be drawn — giving players the chance to win a cash prize, a bonus prize or both. T
