MEGA MILLIONS TICKET WORTH $1 MILLION SOLD IN MONROE COUNTY

One Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million from the Dec. 6 drawing was sold at Tobacco Road, Route 940, Kmart Plaza, Mount Pocono, Monroe County.
The winning ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 07-21-29-35-49, but not the yellow Mega Ball 39, and was purchased with the Megaplier option, which awards a $1 million match-five prize, less 25-percent federal withholding.
The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling a winning ticket.
