MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT HITS $100 MILLION FOR TONIGHTS DRAW

The budget for this holiday season could be a whole lot bigger for a lucky California Lottery player if they win MEGA Millions tonight. Since no one matched all six numbers in Tuesday night’s draw, tonight’s jackpot will be worth an astounding $100 million.
The large jackpot marks the first time since September that the MEGA Millions jackpot amount has reached the $100 million mark. And while no one matched six numbers on Tuesday night, three lucky California tickets – sold in Los Angeles, Grand Terrace and Highland Park – matched five of six numbers to each win a prize of nearly $100,000.
The estimated cash option for tonight’s draw is $73 million. The retailer that sells the jackpot-winning ticket will receive a bonus of $500,000. For reference, the largest MEGA Millions jackpot ever won was $390 million in March 2007, with a cash option of $233 million.
