MAN SACKS $108K HALLOWEEN TREAT, CLAIMS ON BIRTHDAY

Halloween was a dream for one lucky lottery winner who won a bulky prize, claiming it on his birthday. Thomas Mclemore matched all five winning numbers in the Oct. 31 Fantasy 5 drawing, scoring a $108,038 jackpot prize.
Mclemore claimed it Nov. 1, his 54th birthday.
“I found out (Tuesday) morning,” he said. “I got an e-mail from the lottery with the winning numbers on my cell phone.”
Winning the generous sum on such a ghoulish day is great, he said.
“I feel great,” Mclemore exclaimed. “I woke up my wife and told her. She’s the one who screamed.”
Mclemore and his wife, Melinda, live in Fort Payne, Ala.
With his winnings, the manufacturing manager anticipates paying off bills. For his birthday Mclemore had dinner with his in-laws.
Winning numbers from the Oct. 31 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 11-16-29-32-34.
US Food Mart, 7748 Alabama Highway in Rome, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.
